Home Learning Plans
We want our scholars to continue their growth and development as we work our way through the COVID-19 shutdowns, and beyond. Below we’ve indicated the resources, tools, and expecations for each of our campuses. If you need specific details or assistance, please reach out to your child’s teacher.
Our Donoghue scholars will use a combination of Class Dojo, for home-school communication, and Clever, a platform to simplify access and login to the various educational tools we use.
North Kenwood/Oakland (PK-5)
Our NKO scholars will use a combination of Class Dojo, for home-school communication, and the NKO Kids page already used to access the various educational tools in use at NKO.
Woodlawn Campus (6-12)
Our scholars at the Woodlawn Campus will use Google Classroom to support the distribution and return of school work.

School-issued Chromebooks are specially configured to allow ONLY UChicago Charter School students and staff to login. Check with your child’s teacher if you need login info.
School-issued iPads require you to connect to the school VPN using your child’s username and password. Check with your child’s teacher if you need login info.
School-issued Android tablets require you to connect to the school VPN and register with our device management system using your child’s username and password. Check with your child’s teacher if you need login info.

Device Reset Instructions
If you have received a school-issued iPad or Samsung table that appears to be missing apps or does not match the setup steps included with the device, it may need to be reset. Use the following instructions to reset each device type.
NOTE:If the reset option is not available, your device is configured properly and you do NOT need t complete the steps below.
Press Home button >> Open the Settings App >> Tap General >> Tap Reset >> Tap Erase All Contents and Settings >> Confirm
Tap Home icon, Swipe up on home screen >> Tap settings >> Scroll to bottom >> Tap General Management >> Tap Reset >> Tap Factory Data Reset >> Confirm
