Our student-led high school yearbook, The Shield, is run by a really enterprising and motivated group of young people. This year, their advisor, Mrs. Miller, challenged them to do Picture Day in-house instead of using an outside vendor.
The idea was to not only save on the cost of an all-day photographer but to also have the students run a school-wide, technically challenging program all on their own. The school recently acquired a full suite of photography equipment, and this would be the maiden outing for that gear. Our student were ready to RISE to the challenge!
From planning and logistics to setting up and running the technical bits for the entire photoshoot, our student made the day a memorable one. In between the obligatory headshots, they also had a little fun.
